Converting questions
« on: February 07, 2005, 04:09:59 PM »
Was curious if I designed a complete feild in AC3D format(all hangers / acks / objects / dead objects, ect..., and all the flags / ids were set up correctly - upon converting from Ac3d to the AH Object editor, would the object editor accept  that complete file and sort accordingly?

Right now, to me,  it would be easier just to be able to get around / design and inspect objects in one program.

Sort correctly would all depend on the order you made the object in AC3D. You will still have the stencil problem no mater what you did. You would also still have to make a tile with your one object and set the 2 tile flags in the editor property.

But just making the simple base shapes, then placing them with the Obect editor would be easyier in my opionion.

Thanks for the advice...

Seems like It would be easier for me to remove someones appendix than to get an object going correctly right now....lmao
