Saitek X36 and Dhauzimmer driver
« on: January 24, 2005, 06:23:22 AM »
Hello

At last I kick out the official Saitek SST driver-profiler and change to the Dhauzimmer driver, XD-Profile Generator and X45 Query Console. No problems with Dhauzimmer driver installation to the WinXP/SP2 system.

I’m very green with XD-profiler programming tricks but I finally could put the WEP to the throttle Z-axis. Big +! Now I get MIL power right before AB dent and WEP kicks in little bit after the AB dent.

The Mode programming cause a problems right now and I’m still stuck the one mode (+shift). I guess my DEFAULT mode have some logical error.

One bad thing with this new driver/profiler combo is lack of the non-US keyboard support. Well, I can deal with this.

Despite the minor issues / problems, I'm happy with new combo.

Hi,

for Ohio43

All modes are now working fully.  The reason was my own typo error  :o

So far so good.

Hi Curval,

Sorry to hear. Which windows, dhauzimmer and profiler version u did use?

I use before SGE 3.0(Win98se) and SST 2.7?(winXP).
Dhauzimmer+XD-profiler is not easy to adapt after easymode Saitek softwares.

Learning takes some time but it pays off.
