I think back when I started the average age was in the late-30s, early 40s.

It has probably made it to the teens by now though.

51 here but I don't play any online games anymore due to satelite internet connection. A 2 second latency is a bit too much to be competitive. I still have a bunch of "box games I play. I'm retired, i'm SUPPOSED to be having fun darnit so I do!
DEFINITION OF A VETERAN
A Veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life."

38 in May.

Quit worrying go do what you enjoy. Live your life as you see fit and as long as it hurts no one then anything is OK.

Scaevola,

Keep playing the game. Tests are begining to see links between mental acuity and facility being more pronounced in older adults who play games that require you to use your brain the way AH does. In simple terms, it keeps your brain sharp! It's like sex...use it or loose it.....kids!!!!! I don't know anymore?????..........:) Kids these days probably think looking at porno sites is sex....why in my day we all went out behind the barn and scared the sheep.......:D

Same age as wombatt..... In fact I think I'm the guy who teased him relentlessly in grade school.

I'll come, as long as we don't have to do the birdie song or the Okie Cokie.

Although after a couple of  Stella the above has been performed, usually with my pants around my ankles for some strange reason, at least that's what the photographs seem to indicate.

Just shot down a couple of people and got shot down as well, feeling much better thank you.

There are all kinds of games besides AH, which I don't consider a game so much as something to take a break with.

But yes, you hav'ta have relatively good eyesight to do well on computer games such as AH.  I'm 48 and can't read the dials on the P-38 very well.  Just about decided to have a magnifying glass handy when using that plane, which is excellent for jabo work.:D
