Was a blast all . If you guys put another one together let me know. As for the Hurris I believe 71st side won that 1 but not sure.

Team on rooks won hurris. I think that was one of the few we did win.

Was very fun. The leaders need to have more authority tho. For the first time being run it worked out real nice.

Was very nice to see alot of good sticks showed up. It was fun to be shot down by guys you normally just see in the text buffer landing kills.

Agree with morph regarding rules and less downtime. I'd be happy to try this again with a better setup (and fewer ******* stunts).

Anyhow, fun stuff, look forward to your continuing generosity in the form of donated lead.

I had a lot of fun and I think a clear set of guidelines would make the expirience 10x better.

I thought it went pretty well - there was a couple of children there trying to screw things up , but everyone who was flying had fun.

Kamori - pulling crap like that  to demonstrate " there is no rules"  is kind of lame actually - it somewhat added to the confusion when we were getting vulched trying to take off. You need a rule to tell you not to do that ?

Well done Batfink

thanks Redd, although it was no major effort on my part.

just glad so many dudes turned up to play.

thinking about it, the 71 squadron team only had myself and BlueJ as 71sqn members, so we are affectionately known as 'the good guys' by Flyboy

and BK's side (who had a better turnout of squaddies) were named 'the bad guys' with equal affection.

so, from now on, we'll just have the 'good guys' and the 'bad guys' with teams and plane set being sorted the week before each event.

just to make things clear....

THE RULES

good guys are on vox channel 202 always, and bad guys on vox channel 201.

the merge is set at 8k untill icon visual with the enemy.

players can choose how much fuel they take, although 25% is obviously recomended.

NO landing kills, it is not needed.   if your team has won just auger or ditch where you are.  no-one will give you a 'wtg' for landing so why bother ;) added to this it wastes time as S.Stang stated.

walkons are alowed, but check in with either myself (the good guys) or one of the BK's (the bad guys)before you start fighting.

i think thats about it.

morph, if you want to go ahead with your idea of phoning skuzzy, or setting up your own BB, that would be great.

Is this not the start of the true 'furball underground'?

i look forward to continued events in later weeks,

S! all

Ill get ya next time furgadget.

heh

Well I got a BB there set up. The public one. The one you can see is open to anyone. If we want to use it then I'll make a forum dedicated to this. The "Fuballunderground" is alive and well. ;)

Yeah it was a fun turn out.

It seems running these things is always a nightmare, no reflection on any of the the guys that put themselves out there  and run them either.

There is no protocol, so it's hard.

Hawk had good idea, a game of capture the flag, where the flag is your ability to up from your field.

You can up as soon as your dead or wait, whatever, but once a base is capped game over.

Looks like you guys are getting it together, very cool.  Looking forward to this as well toolsheds.

yeah. now thats a great idea.

unlimited planes untill you get too close to your base to up effectively.

with the MA 'horde invaders' game in such a steamrolling condition as it is now, this kind of thing could work out great for those who prefer to furball a little each weekend with a group of like minded folk.

i'm really looking forward to this happening again, although i must stress.....I am not the sole organiser, i just got the ball rolling hopefully. Its up to everyone involved to arrange time and fights that suit as many as possible.

check in with the 'furball underground' forum (in morph's sig) for more details on coming events.

hopefully next time i might get a kill too!! :)

this time all i managed was to ping up a 190 and to shoot off one of Furball's gear from his Val in my P40E :lol

Now who would be silly enough to take a Val into an "unlimited" plane selection fight    ;)

i would think 8k alt at  icon range,,, cold merge ....

5 rounds
( three of them a selected ride , one open round bring what ever "no jets", and a crazy buff round /or a jet round )

and yea we just ditch after winning ..

(this is a furballers Duel ya know)
