Wow!  Very sharp!   Where did you find the subject with a nose art image available at that scale?

My suggestions/comments:

- tail ID numbers look a bit too small - extend them downward
- nose art on both sides?   Usually its only one side; your images show the nose art on the side opposite from the example.
- wing insignia (probably upper and lower) can be increased in size (20-25%) from the size of the insignia on the fuselage booms.
- I'd add rivets to the vertical tail surfaces.   There were 7-8 rows of rivets, horizontal and equally spaced on those.  (run them all the way across, even through the rudder; indicating the rudder surfaces were metal not fabric as many earlier war designs).
- does your template have a extra gun port? I see a gun port on the right side of the nose but no gun barrel sticking through it.

Great job!    Did you figure out what waffle's writing says?  I agree its really a nice touch.

Looks good.

One thing though, is it possible to continue the checkerboard pattern on the top and bottom of the radiators?  The lines look, odd.

I like it.

The check pattern on top bottom of the radiators looks stretched as karnak already mentioned..
maybe you have to compress the pattern there to make it look more normal after stretching?

The radiators still have a messed up checkerboard pattern on the top and bottom.
