Common lost vox scenario - And .ResetV Lockup.
« on: February 09, 2005, 11:33:42 AM »
Feb 9, about 11:25am Central Time
Game ID KurtVW
Aircraft: B24J

Hopefully that detail will help you find me in the logs...

I have seen this problem in Lancs and B24 pretty frequently..  Seems to be related to either droping bombs, bombs in flight or bombs hitting...

I was at 20k feet  Unloaded 3 bombs salvo 1.  On the fourth click the sound cut out.  At the same moment someone was keying up to talk to me on Tuned Channel.

It seems there is something with Tuned vox and bombs...

Anyhow, tried RESETV No result.  Noticed that sound was not working still so I did RESETV 3

Hard Freeze had to Cold Reboot.

now that i think about it, i have ost vox wile firing guns and someone is talking on tunable channel.

maybe it is a resource issue with the custom sounds.
I don't know what to put here yet.

I lose vox in every imaginable scenario you can dream up. And i lose it several times during a play session no matter the duration of play.
I do not run any custom anything...all default...sights and sounds graphic detail at bare minimum ( Max Performance settings. basically i am playing as far to basic as AH2 will allow.
nNt sure what the skinny is on the vox program....but i would like to know how much of a priority it is.
