OK here are some that I can remember. But I have forgotten more than I can remember. For some reason St.Louis was a meca for concerts in the 70's and for a few years that's all we did was go to live shows, sometimes 3-4 a week. There were about 4-5 venues operating at any one time. Kiel,Kiel opera house,American theatre,The Ambassador theatre(my fav.), The Arena, SIU-Edwardsville are just some of the bigger venues that I remember. KSHE Radio here had a lot to do with all the shows being here. A fun time and era for sure. I still have a lot of my ticket stubs around somewhere.
Mosca I agree Nektar was a good show! Top shows in my opinion were Genesis,Joe Walsh,Queen,Skynard, and Slade.
