It's been said we have three brains, one cobbled on top of the next. The stem is first, the reptilian brain; then the mammalian cerebellum; finally the over developed cerebral cortex.  They don't work together in awfully good harmony - hence ax murders, mobs, and socialism.

Dworkin and MacKinnon have been, and remain, completely insane. Dworkin in particular gives nutcase a new definition. Just like that professor Churchill guy she can always find some extreme niche audience to keep buying her next volume of crap. Frankly, this writer gives her more attention than she deserves.

Another one of her positions:

Quote
Marriage as an institution developed from rape as a practice. Rape, originally defined as abduction, became marriage by capture. Marriage meant the taking was to extend in time, to be not only use of but possession of, or ownership.

Spoken like a true abused, ex prostitute lesbian trying to shape the world to fit her own deamons.

It looks like she's about near her final breakdown too.

Spacemoose has about the best take on her style of radical feminism. A bust on the the whole "Take Back the Night" campus movements :) WARNING! R Rated!:

Ooh, Ms. Alkon busts out a whole mess of fallacies (straw man, ad hominem (or in this case, ad feminam), slippery slope, and a ****load of others).  Is feminism such a scary thing that you have to evoke images of bearded, hairy-armpitted manhaters? Sheesh.

Because of these feminists, here, canada and in the UK, fathers become littel more than child molesting criminals during divorce procedings unless they are a member of the 1% truely wealthy who can "settel"  the outcome of the proceedings.

In the U.S. the laws concerning child sevices, divorce and rape have been influenced by feminists to the point that the father or boyfreind is essentialy guilty of whatever the wife, girlfreind and or concerned citizens say the father\boyfreind did or did not do. 75% of rape complaints are prooven false in the united states. During divorce proceedings womens out reach groups coach the wife in how to file complaints to effectivley screw the man. Step one is always a restraining order. In most states once one is filed, no matter the reason, they are usually issued by the presiding judge. At which point you have a flag in the justice system that is interpreted as you are guilty of some degree of abuse of your wife or girlfreind.

That flag does not go away, and it can and does affect your life time ability to increase your income. You have to declair it on job applications in the part about criminal backgrounds. If you lie and they do a background check you are screwed. In some places being caught for the non admission is a crime.

Guilty till proven innocent. You loose your rights to keep arms. In numbers of cases men in the US have lost large collections of collectors grade arms used for their market appreciation value, not shooting. Or old family heirlooms of great value. The right to visit your children, dispose of your property or income to pay for judicial activites or just pay your bills. In many states your arms are confiscated with out due process.

All of this was courtesy of a 1970's era feminist socilogist's biased faulty research used by federal and state governments in formulating child services laws and updates to divorce law. Sexual harrassment laws were influence by a faulty feminist pole taken of 400 coeds in the 70's that answering yes or no still translated to yes you openly know you were raped or no you didn't know but you were. From the pole came the figure 4 in 5 coeds are raped each year at colleges and universities in the US constituting a rape crisis in america. Subsiquently sexual harrasment codes at most universities and colleges in america were codified or rewritten after review by the campus feminist orginaizations. After all the poll proved they were authorities on sexual harrassment. Most of the feminists I met in the 70's didn't give anyone I knew even a softee let alone a woodie and were about as appealing to look at as an old wart hog.

So feminists have had a negative influence on western culture. I suspect dinger and Zulu don't profile in real life to being main stream males who have gone through any part of children, matramony or ownership of land\property and lost them to these feminist inspired guilty until proven innocent laws. To this point in their lives they may have nothing anyone wants to coherce from them but their opinions. And we all know what thats worth going by the old addage.

This is like the old joke that voters are harsher to their beer brewer if he has an outage, than their politicians after raising their taxes. Death and taxes are certain but, fun and sex is only now.

I like strong, career women.
It's actually a turn-on to see a woman who takes charge. That is, if she's hot too :)

My girlfreind is the student services manager for the Oakland CA campus of the University of Pheonix. I'd say she is a strong career woman. But she's a strong woman because she is an adult with strong princepels and morals. At some point you will get to an age that getting that woodie is far less important than if you can actually be with that woman full time for years on end.

One of the strange parts of being older with money, unlike your fantasies of youth about having money, is for most men they don't waste their time buying full time fantisies. They work at not dieing alone. Many feminists from the 60's and 70's got married in their 60's to not be old and alone. And some of them married quit well. Funny how smart people get too late in life when da woodie aint running their mouths.
