CH Stuff in Direct mode
« on: February 03, 2005, 08:41:56 PM »
I was setting up my stuff in Direct Mode on AH with a CH Prothrottle, Fighterstick, and Propedals. Problem is, AH Stick Map  doesn't list the Prothrottle to be able to program the buttons/set up the buttons for AH.

Am I missing something?

Is the throttle connected directly to the computer, or through one of the other sticks?

If it connected directly to a USB port and is not showing up, then there is a good chance the USB port is not able to supply enough power for all the devices, or the connection is bad.

Doesn't show at all?
You can't assign the axis?

If you can assign the axis then you should be able to assign buttons.

If game controllers in Win sees all 3 then AH will too.

BTW, same setup, use just AH mapper here.

It shows up in Windows and all the axis shows up in AH.

AH doesn't recognize any buttons pressed on the throttle so I cannot set functions to those buttons.

The Throttle, pedals, and stick are all independently connected to the computer and not through a hub or some other device.

Thanks for the help in advance!

Just to clarify, I just want to set AH to act when I hit certain buttons on my throttle. It recognized nothing on the throttle except for the axis (which works 100% ok).

You have to manually map the buttons to an AH Control button.

In the Joystick setup,  select an unused button from the AH Control list, then select the joystick, then select the button from the list on the right and set the input.
Then you can map commands to those buttons.  Just remember that Aces High only allows 32 buttons total to be used.
