played the demo, hated it, thought PC gamer horribly overrated it...didnt think much of the AI, but playing multiplayer games pretty much exclusivly probably spoiled me...graphics looked about the same as nightfire (my shoddy graphics card is probably what did it)

FarCry was decent, graphics and sound were simply outstanding, but whenever monsters show up in whatever game I am playing I loose interest. One exception to that is F.E.A.R. I'm not sure why but I played that one through. Had goosebumps on a few occaisons and jumped in my seat more than once. That's probably why I stayed with it.
