wierd Falcon,
I decided to install the new editor into its own directory instead of overwriting the old AH2 editor.

I have had no problems and nothing but good things so far in this new editor....

maybe a fresh install after deleting/uninstalling the AH2 editors you now have might help

still though, I do have a small prob with the object checker saying I have no HQs for any countrys, yet they are there, if I make map and use icons it shows the star icon where HQs are located...but says I have none inserted...still trying to figure this one out

Falcon I can use the "Alt" slider or the joystick to get closer to the build window for placing objects.

Of course, I never could zoom in on the little clipboard map window if that's what you're talking about.
Easy in-game again.

Buttom 5 is the default zoom on my MS FF2, but the slider works fine as well, Crashed when I tried to import my stick.cfg file but no biggy. I agree with TC a fresh install in a seperate folder is prolly what you need.

Just installed the new AH2 editor and I also had joystick zooming in problems.

Using Microsoft SideWinder Precision 2.

Corrected my problem by copying the stick.cfg and jsmap.cfg files from my Aces High II\settings folder and then paste them into my HTC\ah2editor\settings folder.

Go to any HQ and select it, Under "Ownership" uncheck "Field Owned" and assign it to the proper country number.
