I hate cats. No unconditional love found with them at all, just takers. They use you for food and a box to crap in and come and go as they please.

I disagree entirely. But a lot of people feel like that after having dogs, and expect to be able to treat a cat like a dog.

ST what kind of food do you give to your cat? Much though it pains me, I have to agree with one word answer's one word answer. I have heard (unconfirmed) that feeding your cat dry food and nothing else can result in this condition. I used to feed my cats a mixture of canned food, and IAMs - but not too many.

It might, if he isnt happy with what you're feeding him

My guys are indoor cats.  I give them the Purina Indoor Formula and buy the 9Lives canned food.  I give them each a 1/4 can in the morning and a 1/4 can for supper.  I used to forgo the wet food (it smells) but after one of the cats had a UTI, the vet suggested bringing it into the diet.

I also feed them this   Basically I just mix it with the Purina stuff in their dry food feeder.  They like it, they'll literally scoop away the Purina stuff to get at the Science Diet stuff.

If he pisses on you again, vet time.  Could be an infection.

Agree with LePaul about the Science Diet, its incredible stuff. Plus if you buy it in the large 15 or 25Kg sacks the cost works out less than the regular sized cheap stuff.

That wet food thing is total crap.  I grew up with 4 cats who ate nothing but dry food and they never had a single problem.

Not only that, but a friend of mine had 3 cats who only ate dry food.  Those cats were the biggest cats I've ever seen too.  Not fat, but built.
