Not this time JB but she will be staying for about a month. 31 days I think.

She may come home with me after our honeymoon in August but more likely she won't come to stay untill December. There is a lot of immigration stuff to work out.

Of course all this is hanging on whether or not I can prove to the judge in Brasil that my divorce is final. There is also about a 30 to 60 day prenuptual time when the government down there checks out both parties to make sure both are eligable to marry. Seems this stuff never ends...:)

I don't think so Hawco. If you have enough money comming in that you can prove will be paid to you monthly, I think it's like $2000.00 a month, or if you marry a Brasilian national, immigrating into Brasil seems to be fairly easy from what I've read.

Population density per square mile is a lot lower in Brasil than in the US and they don't have as high an incidence of people wanting to immigrate as the US does.

Hehe, I think I could immigrate easier than I can marry a Brasilian. :)

Meatwad,

I have found in my years upon this earth that for the most part, women are long suffering and wish to please and coddle.  They have an extremely strong sense of family and duty to those they hold dear. It pains me to see a picture like that one because the other thing I have found in my years upon this earth is that there is a larger number of men who are selfish, self-serving and most insensitive to the needs of their female partners.

However, as is generally the case, one's mileage may vary.
