You know I spend too much time being creative on things I shouldn't waste time on. It's in me, the creative urge.
I was outside earlier, uh, having a nicotine nebulizing treatment when I got to thinking about my Z28 and how I haven't done any mods to it. I got a lot of flack on the ls1tech boards for not doing anything to it. "It's boring" they'd tell me. Well, to me it's like a blank canvas. Untouched by human intrusion. And that blank canvas of a car exudes potential. What I could potentially do to it if I ever decide to mod the car. Which got me thinking...
A blank canvas. To me it's a metaphor to possibility. What enormous potential a blank canvas has. Then, I started thinking about art titles as art. For instance, an artist has a showing at a gallery. All of his/her art is blank canvas. But the art lies in the titles of these blank canvases, titles that reflect the promise of what lies in a blank canvas. He/she has to be creative so that the titles aren't repetitive. The name of the show is "Promise" and people are surprised to see a whole gallery of untitled blank canvases.
That's the kind of crap I think about at 1 am when I am oustide looking at the stars and having a smoke. That is until the alert siren goes off and I have to see what's failed on the network.
wordy.
