"gade" means street; so "Washingtongade" means Washington street.

That said; I've never heard of Prestogade; nor can I find it in any of the (rather good) online map services. Are you sure of the spelling?

If you've more information; such as a person's or company name; this is one of the better search engines for Copenhagen:

Præstøgade

"it's on Østerbro, nice neighboorhood,
no shops there. Appartment building up to 5th floor, seems only to be private persons"

(and no, "The Venereal Isle" is Cyprus, just so you don't get the wrong idea).

Many years ago one my 22nd birthday a buddy of mine and his wife and some other friends took me to a bar in Staten Island called "the Swiss chalet" to celabrate

Where I met this REALLY hot chick from Denmark.
I know she was Hot because I thought she was hot even before I got drunk.

Anyway. I see this chick at the bar and after some prodding I went over and started talking to her and we really hit it off. Learned she was from Denmark and was with a girlfriend sightseeing here in the US (her friend was shall we say. less then hot) Anyway we talked. and drank and Drank and talked and she found out it was my birthday gave me a kiss. Then it was two kisses. then 3 (Read. making out) and so on.

Ohhhlala there is just something about a chick with a sweet voice and a danish accent

So we went on like that for quite some time.
Had a great time. her friend and my friends were non e too pleased as we basically just blew em off.

Alas in the end we both had to leave. but I gave here my mailing address and she gave me hers.
And we each left and went our ways.
I figured it was cool but I'd never hear from her again.

About a month later I got a card in the mail from her saying how she really enjoyed meeting me and hoped I remembered her and to write back.
I did but alas never heard from her again but to this day I remember her name and address

Maryanne Berg Thompson,
Prestogade 8
Copenhagen Denmark (unsure of exaxt spelling)

Hadnt really thought about it in a long while and dont really know what made me think of it recently. But I did
and figgered I'd put it up here for chuckles just to see if there was such a place

To sound corny just one of those sweet memories from my youth I will always cherish
