My dad owned a Cherokee 6 at the time which I remember better, but for jets-1972'sh, an Air Canada DC-9 from O'Hare to visit relatives in Vermont. No idea where it would have landed.
Only thing I remember vivid was driving my toy tank or whatever it was on the tray table, and the guy in front of me having a ****fit, with me having no clue why he kept looking back at me. I get it now. That and the clouds were 100X as bright and murder on my eyes as a child.
