OK, bare paint, unwaxed. It's that satiny pearl white; I really like the "eggshell" look. I let the kid wash it with a fresh mitt and fresh water. I told him not to wax it; I'm going to do it this weekend anyhow. He did the wheels, tires, glass and interior. Ben's a good detailer. His dad owns Ben Cook Racing, they make Sprint Car frames. He goes to culinary school and works for us at night.

This weekend; wash, clay, wax.

Man, this car is sweet. It's the Subaru 2.5i Limited, same as the GT but no turbo, no spoiler. But it has leather, 6-disc CD in dash, heated seats, sunroof, dual zone climate control, heated WINDSHIELD WIPERS, ferchrissakes, and airbags all over the place, and it is so quiet, so smooth, and has such nice and precise handling for a family sedan.

Ripsnort, got me hooked on http://www.Griotsgarge.com.  They have the best Wheel cleaner I've ever used.  Their products (especially the Starter Kit) are competitively priced.   I believe Rip has now begun using Klasse for the paint.  In a couple months I'll email him and ask him how he likes that stuff.

My dad just gone one of those.  Very nice ride.  Nice alternative to an Accord / Camry class car.

LOL, Masherbrum, then let me get you hooked on Autopia

I particularly like Griot's Interior Cleaner, Leather Care, and Speed Shine. There are other waxes and sealants I like better than Griot's Best of Show wax, though. Klasse is fantastic.

I'm a real freak for car care. I don't know why. Here's a picture of my SC'd '97 Miata (original paint):

Best of Show is far better than higher grade Zymol I was using.  I'm going to be switching to Klasse this summer.

However their Wheel Cleaner is tops (Griots).

BTW, nice Miata.
