BIG Thank you to knights who fought at 162-164 last night...

All of you.

You guys gave us in Synergy our best night ever in AH.

Fantastic fights all night!!!

It started with Lovemonk finding one of our carriers cruising up north near Kinght land. So we (lovemonk, wolfden, my self plus about 2-3 other rook pilots) decided to go make a raid for the heck of it.

We managed to take 162 fairly quickly as it was soo far away from any fronts. Then we naivly thought we could start working on the other fields. Big NOOOT..

About 15 min after we took 162 the first raids started comming in.

We decided to do our best and enjoy it while it lasts.

A few more of our squadies (Viggen77, Aubrey, Knite) log in and join the defense of 162.

The darbar is full red vs one green and we laugh about it. We never really think we gonna be able to hold it for any extended period.

But somehow we manage to hold on to it raid after raid.

Bombers start comming in... at one point there where constantly 3-4 sets of bombers in the air over 162...

We loose FHs go into Il2s and fight as hard as we can. To our amazment we actually manage to scoore a few kills in tem.

We loose BHs as well and the base is 100% flat, everything is destroyed.

Just as the goons come in we get our VHs up. Manage to sneak vehicals out and into town.

We get BHs up and manage to get our Il2s up again.

Town starts poping back up fighter hangers are comming back.

Then the next wave is comming.

Now with Morpheus in a Tempest and a 262 in the air.

We still hold on for quite some time.

But then we just have to log because we are all exhausted. 5 hours straight defense against 1v3 numbers.

Was a fanatstic night, my best gaming night in years and my best AH night ever.

Once again a huge to the Knights who made this possible.

Also I want to extend another HUUUUGE to the few rooks that stuck with us through the worst period of the defense, SIRB and ACE.

Bad goon timeing on our part.
  Every time we got a goon there either the city would pop up or the vh, or some thing.
 I agree ,was a great battle, I had a lot of fun.

Man, taking and defending that field was as intense as gaming gets.  5 hours of never ending action.  Holding when we thought we'd had it only to come out the other side and then it started again and again.  Constantly checking positions of cons that were having a B'n'Z frenzy on us.  Struggling for alt, breaking left, breaking right, our planes breaking into little pieces.  Sneaking kills when attackers overstretched themselves and left themselves open.  Managing to take the fight to 164 a couple of times to help take the heat off at 162 got me my favourite vulch of all time with a horde on my tail.  Rumours of my manic laughter are unsubstantiated and rumours were all that was left of my plane about  5 seconds after as i was engulfed and taken down.

Hopefully we can have more times like this in the future as we get better.  Thanks to all the Rooks and Knights that took part.
