Is the Strat page only available while in flight?

I can't seem to find it on the ground.

I don't even know how to get my mouse to work while in flight. Would someone be kind enough to tell me?
P.S. no joystick, if that makes a difference.

Yep, that make a difference. You really need somekind joystick with this sim.
Those all-in-one sticks could be best choice for the begining.
