Did Nixon accept a bribe from Hughes?

Interesting story:

Wonder if there's anything to the story, or if it's just a grasp at fame?  Either way, a developing story.

Well..  I don't want to be a muck racker.  I don't know if it's true, and I'm not trying to troll, but at the same time, anti-troll rules say you have to do better then 'interesting: (link)', but I really seriously don't know if it will turn into anything or not, just that it seems to be of interest.

So...  no 'breaking news!' from me, might be a non-starter.

My understanding was that Nixon had no prior knowledge of the breakin, but only tried to cover it up as damage control.  If that is true, then it will kill this story outright.
