From what I've read, they teams are going to make the announcement on Wednesday. Napoleon Harris for Moss.

I dunno... He'll make a nice  bookend to Porter, but until they do something about the O line, I can't see this making a big difference.

Funked... I know you have thoughts on this.

The O line isn't bad for pass protection.  But they can't run.  And whether it was Marcus Allen, Bo Jackson, Mark van Eeghen, Kenny King, Pete Banaszak, or anyone I've missed, they win when they can run.  That's what opens up the deep passing game.

And they also need to learn to stop the run.  They spent millions on a couple of tons of D-lineman and they couldn't stop anyone.

Napolean Harris, a 1st round and 7th round pick I heard.   Lotsa folks in Minnesota think this was a big mistake.  Moss was the most talented receiver the Vikes ever had and I bet he'll have a great year in Oakland.

I lost alot of respect for him with the traffic cop incident, and his attitude of playing hard only when he wants to is not the attitude of a champion.    Maybe the change will do both teams good.

Raider's need a QUARTERBACK and a RUNNING BACK, also Line.   Randy Moss is no value without the above.

Moss will look great as Collins throws the ball to the CB covering him.

My thoughts - WR is an overrated position.  If you have a good line and a good QB there are a ton of guys in the league who can put up 1000+ yards.  However I think Moss is one of the few guys at that position who can make a difference.  He will help, but the Raiders main problems last year were defense and the running game, and Moss does nothing for that.  Still, I like where Al is going with this, QB with a cannon arm, fast recievers, vertical passing game.  Even if they lose it should be entertaining.

As a Viking fan Im semi glad to see him gone.

Not good to loose a receiver of his calibre. but he just wasnt worth the aggrivation anymore. Plus I still think they play better as a TEAM without him.

Basically what Im saying is they rely on him too much.

He's a good fit with the Raiders. who happen to be my second favorite team.
Well the old Bad Boy Raiders were anyway.
So maybe what Im saying is he is a good fit with Al Davis LOL.
Im glad to see if he went anywhere it was to the Raiders

though I think they should have gotten 2 first rounders plus a starter

Raiders fans.
whats the deal on this guy Harris? any good?

Harris is a solid starting LB.  He's really fast and he hits people really hard.  He's not real good in coverage though.  I think he might end up as a pass rushing OLB.

Powell: Yes Rock.
Rock: Well that's where I got it, he's my son.
Powell: Really Rock, well I'd like to meet him.
Rock:  No ya wouldn't.

Great. Just what we need. Another defender that cant stop the pass.

Another year of giving up 25 yards on 3rd and 15s comming up
