B-17 & B-24 fly over my house
« on: September 09, 2009, 05:22:30 PM »

There was a Bomber Exhibit not far from my shore house this weekend, and bombers were coming in for landings right over my house.  Thought I would share.

That's funny. I work about 1 mile from Winner Ford. I work in a shop on Woodcrest Road, right next to the train station.

i didn't even know there was a shop next to the woodcrest station?

that traffic light at burntmill rd.......that's where the lady hit me head on about 7 years ago, totaling my mustang. i don't go home that way anymore.

small world, eh?

they looked like the collings foundations bombers. i forget if it was last year, or the year before, one of our NJ wing civil air patrol members was co-piloting, and supposed to check out in the left seat of the 24.

i'll have to find out if he made it at next weeks staff meeting.

You are correct. The B-17 is the "Nine-o-Nine" and the B-24 is the "witchcraft"
