Teen protests Pledge said in foreign languages

This is creapy....I find myself agreeing with sandman more and more    :(

I think if this kid has a problem with the pledge being said in another language and wants to PROTEST IT he should have every right to do so in a non obstructive way.

To me this is the same as somone not wanting to say the pledge because it has the word "god" in it.  If they don't want to say it sit down quietly and don't say it.

Sorry, Sandman.

I indeed have read more into the article than I should have. I am mainly caught on the topic that the student protested the activity. The teacher did state that if he had a problem, he should leave and that is what the 15 year-old did.

I think my problem is more with the teacher. Maybe if I protested having to do homework, he would have told me that if I had a problem with it, I didn't have to do it.

The teacher, rather than provide an incentive (positive or negative) to participate, simply allowed the student to leave.

So, in AH terms the Teacher was trying to vulch the "peek-a-boo" Student, missed and pancaked? :)
