His clothes ripped off during the tumble, Hoekstra swam to shore and summoned help from a nearby apartment.

This just in to our news desk!  A man was found naked and wet, stumbling through an apartment complex in West Austin.  He has been apprehended and charged with lewd and lascivious conduct and exposure to a minor.

Film at 11.

Had lunch in the restaraunt looking at that dam a few times. I wouldn't be suprised if he found a winning lottery ticket on his swim to shore with that kind of luck.

Yeah, but the question is, was he arrested or only detained?

I live 5 mins from the dam. Yes its a spill way gates open 10 feet so no he just took a ride. He must have lost power our something because it would be hard to get that close to the dam. To bad it wasnt a nice day because their are always boats parked around their and could have given help. Its not like lake Austin flows very fast so they had time to get out and swim for it.
