You get the idea.  :)

What would you want?

My wish list would be something like this:

A better mission editor.  Be able to name waypoints or accept default names. Be able to assign targets to flights, both Primary and Secondary targets.  Players that fly in missions be awarded extra points for joining mission.

Aircraft could only spawn either in a hanger or in a revetment. Aircraft have to taxi to a runway or an open area for takeoff.
Aircraft can not pass through each other.  If aircraft hit each other they get damaged or destroyed.
Aircraft are subject to friendly fire.

Players retain  aircraft, Wear & Tear, engine over heating, damage to engine as a result of miss use (over heating or supper cooling), for as long as you fly a type of aircraft you own it, just as they did during WWII.  If you get shot down, you get issued a new aircraft.

Model in  Oxygen. Young fighter pilots in good shape could go to 14 and 15K with ease, but going much above that was a problem without O2.  Most High Alt Fighters carried onboard O2.  Many fighters didn’t have supplies of O2 and had to remain at low alts.

O2 could become a strat target at an airbase.  Or an O2 factory.  Destroy the O2 ability at an airfield to refill the O2Bottles and fighters launching would be limited to lower alts or pilots would gray and then black out as they go much above 14K.

Rearming Pad, when using a rearming pad pilots can change load out, when rearming.  small repairs would be made to aircraft on the rearming pad,  fuel leaks, bullet holes patched, oil cooler filters changed and oil reserve filled. The aircraft rearmed according to the pilots wishes.  But besides the re-arming pads, I’d like to see rearming revetments that allowed pilots to taxi in one end and out the other one at a time, each aircraft being serviced by the crew.  No more of this 50 aircraft sitting on one re-arming pad for 30 seconds and up they all go.

As the game now stands, you put a total of ten troops in the city , you own the airfield.  I’d like to see a requirement that you need to put troops and supplies into the airfield to bring it back to life. In other words, the crews that service the aircraft, man the acks and operate the airfield need to be replaced as well.  That like in WWII there not be an unlimited number of troops. Have the ability to move troops from one base to another.  That a Re-arm of a C47 for troops only be accomplished if there happen to be 10 troops available on that airfield., 10 excess troops above the number required to make the airfield active.  If troops get killed at an airfield, that you lose something, the ability to service aircraft as quickly.  Something related to man power.  The ability to launch Bombers, something.

After your flight, have the oppertunity to do a walk around and check out the damage. If you rtb 100% healthy no point to it but it'd be nice to see what the crate looks like after a nasty one.

How about the option of having a guy in a squad be able to temporarily transfer to check out another squad. He could return to his after a short  limited time and not loose any perks/points.
Like a Squad Exchange program.
you dont lose perks leaving a squad, only if you change you in game name by calling or emailing HTC
I don't know what to put here yet.

DipStick its more than that really. Its kinda like this. You have a softball game scheduled at 7pm. The way it is now when you arrive everyone is already out on the field and its hard to get organized(or if not hard..it has a who cares feel)

A real briefing room is like a clubhouse. You can shoot the crap before hand. Plan..upload missions, see waypoints, assign targets. Just adds alot to the mission feel, and fun of it.

Yep 73, I'll have to put on my extra large marOON hat and sit in the corner for that one. Thanks for correcting me.

OK how about this.

The .thumb command. It brings up the pilots left thumb to block out the sun. The PC commands could be .thumbl or .thumbr for left or right handed people.

A rearm pad menu. You can choose what to reload when you go to the rearm pad. If you want we could make it take a minute to change the default loadout.

Not being able to bail out when your plane is doing 500 + spinning like a top because one wing is missing.

I think Shane asked for this - a come kill me button. Your dot would show on the map to the enemy no matter where you were and no matter the status of thier radar. Some of the bigger maps it's very hard to find a fight some days.

Because, for one thing, there would still be the distractions of all the other radio traffic.  A Briefing Room would have no radio so that any discussions are not broken up by hundreds of lines of extra text.  A much 'cosier' atmosphere than can be achieved at the moment.  :)

2) A few perks at the begining of the month to start with.  Not everyone flies 40 hours a week and trying to earn a 262, Ar234 or Tiger ride can take a very long time

3) Crater damage affecting GVs/Aircraft trying to go thru them

4) Engine Contrails from high alt aircraft

5) Wind/weather at fields.  Be interesting to bring in a damaged buff to a field that has a stiff crosswind or turbulence.

6) Longer smoke effects that do not disapate so quickly.  I.E. engine oil smoke, RATO smoke, etc

7) Require an OK/Confirmation if someone attempts to .wingman you.
