BoxBoy - yes, the Great Smoky Mts. I drove that road (441?) right through that park. Very interesting area.

Originally the mouth grew to cover over the whole picture as it imploded or something.. :)

But I thought it would have looked too confusing.

Great for pick-ups! Do you know of this place? Is it still there?

I liked KY. I'd been on assignment in Springfield,IL and when I saw Frankfort I thought "Hmmm, brick buildings - reminds me of jollie olde..."

Hey there Beetle!

I live about 15 miles from Frankfort. Never been to a restaurant with phones on the tables, but it sure sounds like something you'd see in good 'ole Kentucky... LOL

The people here are somewhat different, but in a good way. I was riding my motorcycle and ran out of gas about two miles from my house. I pulled off to the side of the road across from some house in the middle of nowhere to see if I could use their phone to call my wife. Before I could get my helmet off I heard some lady yelling from the porch "You need a ride?" She went in the house, got her husband, and he drove me home to get my gas can. In Florida, they would have ran inside their house and locked the door.

Hmmm...  New Yorkers invading Florida is part of the reason I left the God forsaken place. I guess I'd vomit too if I had to choke down the Big Apple on a daily basis.
