Taxes - Presidential Election Campaign fund

You know the box... the one that asks if you want to give $3 to the fund.  

Anybody know if this goes to all presidential candidates, or just to the big ones (Repubs and Dems)?

IIRC it goes to just the major ones.  This is based on signatures for canidates or something.
