Taken last summer in Alaska.
My wife, Joan and our daughters: Svea & Brigitta.
Third daughter Annika was still just a thought.

Your wife looks just like a friend of mine.

VERY Swedish names for your girls - any particular reason?

'Sverige' (Sweden) is short for Svea Rike (Svea's Kingdom, roughly translated, but you may know this). Don't let it get to her :D

Very nice family you got there. And good names, too :D

Thanks, I like them a lot.

If your friend’s personality is anything like my wife’s, then I’d highly recommend marrying her.

We started with the oldest girl’s name, Svea, because we liked the sound of it.  Our Svea is a bit too much of a princess for her own good.

When the next one came along we decided to stick with the Swedish sounding names.  Brigitta means strength, and she is amazingly strong.

Really the only Swedish thing about us is that we drive old beater Volvos.
