friendly hanger damage

ok your hiding in a hanger  or vh at a n m e base a tiger  comes around side of hanger  and shoots through side and hits you.you fire  at  tiger through side  and ionly hit hanger !!!!!!!!!!.

it should work both ways  they both hit the hanger same for as droping bombs on hanger the hanger should still be damaged  weather frendly or n m e bombs.

a bomb is  a bomb  goes bang where ever its droped

Seen similar at a few VHs, somehow the enemy fires through them, you try to fire out and hit the structure instead.
Would have thought it should be the other way round if anything.
