Please check my math for errors.
With 100 Allied players and 87 Axis players the following took place.
The Allies shot down:
21 Fw-190’s = 210 points
17 Bf-109’s = 170 points
6 Me-110’s = 90 points
Destroyed A38 = 200 points
Destroyed A40 = 200 points
Damaged A76 (~30%) = 60 points
Damaged City (~70%) = 140 points
Undamaged A43 (0%) = 0 points
No penalty points. All squads were with in their range or low.
Total = 1070 Allied points
The Axis shot down:
29 P-47’s = 290 points
14 P-51’s = 140 points
33 B-26’s = 495 points
0 P-38’s = 0 points
Defended A38 (0%) = 0 points
Defended A40 (0%) = 0 points
Defended A76 (~70%) 140 points
Defended City (~30%) 60 points
Defended A43 (100%) 200 points
No penalty points. All squads were with in their range or low.
Total = 1325 points
*Defense points are given to a side if they are able to keep an enemy from destroying a target. For example had the Allied been unable to destroy the flak factory the Axis would have received the 200 points for it. Had the Allied only destroyed ½ the target then each side would have received 100 points.
Totals for all three frames:
Allied
Frame 1 = 1260 (107 pilots)
Frame 2 = 1100 (121 pilots)
Frame 3 = 1070 (100 pilots)
Total = 3430
Axis
Frame 1 = 1155 (95 pilots)
Frame 2 = 1210 (97 pilots)
Frame 3 = 1325 (87 pilots)
Total = 3690
With a difference of only 260 points for all three frames. Just about a draw or some might consider it a minor victory for the Axis. I think pucks original design of having the Axis on defensive worked out well. Generally out of the 3 frames I like to have the Allied attack once, the Axis attack once, and then for frame 3 an even distribution of attacking and defending so each side has the same opportunity. This particular Squad Operations had the Axis defending the majority of the time. He felt the Axis would have the edge in this particular write up and that has been the case despite their lower numbers. Though if you take out the penalty points the Allies had, the edge would have gone to the Allies for all three frames.
