Logged on, saw that A242 was flashin...(Nits capture this base like once a day, their favorite place to send their cv's to) Our cv 233 was a bit past it, tried turn it around (noone in command)..sometimes they wont take new waypoints unless ya grab command..WOULDNT lemme grab command..then 233 starts flashin...try repeatedly to change course of fleet...no avail..B24's toodle along, sink it....like 3 min later, cv becomes controllable..but nit fleet safe now...sigh

Did you just log in when you were trying to take command of it bj?

Sometimes when I log in and see a CV is under attack and I try to turn it, or take command of it, I cant because its' already being controled by another player with a lower rank than mine. The only problem is their name doesnt show up right away on the list of CV's so it looks as if its not being controled when in reality it is.

Might be something else though.

I've had this problem before...I think it might occur when a player of better rank has the CV control window open, but hasn't officially "taken control" with name on the placard (sp?).

Dunno for sure, just my guess.

i ussually catch (what id call spys) grabbin a pile of cvs and trying to gather them all in the same place (easy kills for a good buff driver) then ya notice all there ports are being hard pressed .. this really gets my goat

1) If you are way out ranked you won't even see the Cv commanders name. Try putting your name to it. You get control or you don't.

2) If a guy with rank loggs off with his name attached only some one with better rank can take it. They may have fixed this glitch by now.

3) I know it takes time but yell for a Ranker to help if this happens again.

Dunno, im like ranked 90 or somethin, but I HAD logged on a few min before...hadnt thought of that--im dialup, and takes mebeb 2 min or better to fill up roster

If there are alot of people on its takes the roster a bit to fill out. Very much so when your on dial up.
