As for scores - well, as the movie goes, look who's talking.
As for taking away the scores - which seems to be a big issue - it really doesn't matter. War is what it is, not what you'd like.
I would appreciate a way of measuring progress - mine, like some interesting statistics that are kept - like kills/death and such. They are better pointers than being #7 - or #1.
If scores are an issue - remove them.
But invent a way of measuring progress, singly or any way that makes sense - and pleases the majority.
But a measure has to be there, if it isn't it will be just another DA.
Taking bases - well, the whole setup of CT is the same as the 'MA', adjusted & limited for historical conditions. So, what's the deal?
The DA is there for personal slugfests, why export that to the CT ?
Maybe get some hype up to setup a 'historical DA'. You may be surprised - it may happen and it even may work.
Finn-Rus - a grand map - I really enjoy it - except for the small detail that fights are 99% fo the time around the bases A1 and A4. And exclusively in the air. Up, shoot, die. Round and round.
End result ? umm ...
Have u ever been to some of those HH scenarios? Go in one. I've been in one or two - way back when I started. You may see the tendency this arena is pushed to reflected there.
