High flare, firm touchdown, awesome touchdown point. Dropping it in like that really reduced touchdown airspeed at the expense of increasing vertical velocity, but from the way it cartwheeled it looked like the plane was able to absorb the impact energy reasonably well. He nursed it over all the fences but let it down before smacking the stands or whacking into the players. I wonder if anyone standing right behind the fence got hit, but still it looked like a great effort. The vid quality is low enough that I can't be sure, but it looked like the prop was stopped and he had a notch or two of flaps dropped, which is pretty much the right config for what he was trying to do (emergency landing on a playing field).
