Our trip back in 2004
« on: March 23, 2005, 03:56:45 PM »
Just after my operation a friend of mine asked me to go buy a bike for him and transport it up to portland (About a thousand miles away).

This is heading to buy the bike:

This is after we picked it up and the motel we stayed at before travelling up the coast

Here is a shot I took, it just seemed perfect from my perspective

Kimberly snapping a picture of one very happy samuel

Kimberly with a smile for days

This was so much fun

Yep, going north you dump out into an expansive view of the beach, almost unreal, then you're at sea level, where you can park in a turn out.

The sun still sets, the politics are still a joke, and the cost of living continues to rise.

Nice pics. Just wonderin, can u swim there? temp. wise i mean?  Cause I went Maine a lot as a kid, and the water was freezing man!. I mean nut shrinking cold. As a kid, my voice didn't break till we stopped going to Maine.
I used to be a fatalist,

Spothq I am about 50 miles east of you up in Twain Harte. Ever drive up Hy 108 to Strawberry or to ski at Dodge Ridge? I am 20 min from Dodge. :)

We drive down to Modesto every few months to hit COSTCO and Trader Joes. ;) I always have to go into Comp USA and drool over the goodies I want.

Nice pics. :)

airbumba: It would be nut-cold right there, and that time of year. That's close to oregon so it's up high enough latitude wise that the water would be very uncomfortable.

daddog: Yep, been skiing at dodge, bear etc. I was born and raised in Modesto, used to run modestocalifornia.net (Local site, made the paper etc, had a popular alumni site etc), then poured a bunch of money into racks and colo and basically work from home now (No more trucking for me as of 1999) =) Modesto Sucks!, horrible drivers, bad air, high prices for basic necc.... and the politicians suck as well.
