Awhile back I said that we would be looking into some issues in the flight engine. Well that's been done and one thing led to another and it turned out we've made some quite a few changes in that area. We're very happy with the results, but we still have a lot of work left to do to get the existing plane models integrated with the new changes in the flight engine. The biggest change will be a decrease in how fast planes lose speed in turns, but many other subtle changes have been made as well. There are no planned changes for basic aircraft performance such as top speed and rate of climb.
This has turned into a lot of work and we'll be very busy for awhile trying to crunch through it for the next version.
