Want to fly the B-17? (also for HABU)
« on: April 11, 2005, 08:10:26 AM »
Imagine if from now on you must use the checklist below before any flight in the B-17.

IIRC the MIcroprose game "B-17 the Mighty 8th" had a download that made use of all the AC systems and required the management of the of the startup and flying operations.

I never downloaded that option I most often flew the top turret or tail gunner and let OTTO do the rest.

I never got much out of that game:D

You folks have a good week!

Habu,

weather on WED may be a bit wet in Orlando due to a front passing  (calling for 30%)

rest of the show looks great, see ya there

Scooter

Sorry I missed you at Sun and Fun.

I was only there Tues and Wed night (spent Monday night over on the other side of the field).

I was sick with a very nasty cold so spent each evening going to bed as early as possible.

I enjoyed the trip despite the cold and intend to go back next year.

I had a case of Canadian beer I brought down for you but did not even open it (had no ice) so the stupid thing stayed in the baggage compartment the whole show and I flew back with it.

Or just hit E and firewall the throttle?
