The Tunica Air Races and Air Show will be held June 2-5, 2005 in Tunica, Mississippi. The Races will bring together some of the world's most accomplished air racers to compete for the Tunica Cup. Classes confirmed to race include T-6, Formula One
and Unlimited.
The four-day event will also include aerobatic shows featuring Gene Soucy "Mr. Airshow", Cris Ferguson, Alan Bush, Ray Williams, Steve Johnson, Tom Adams and Skip Stewart.
Along with the air races and aerobatic performances, many unique war planes will be on display both on land and in the sky. Appearing will be a 1941 Liberate Bomber, which is only one of two of its kind still flying, along with a P-47, P-51 and B-25 J.
