« on: March 28, 2005, 01:21:56 AM »
As copied from the Skeleton Crew Squadron Forums.  All planes flying in this Flypast will be recognisable as the Same type.
The group should appear as Flypast participants as F4U's, the chosen ride of SC-Mutt.  It is respectfully requested by all those reading this forum and not participating, that the Flypast be left unmolested.  An announcement will be made over Channel 200 prior to the Flypast commencing.

Date:

Australian:                               Sun April 3rd
U.S.A:   Southwest Central      Sat April 2nd

Time:

Australian: 1.00pm    East Coast

U.S.A. :       8.00pm   Southwest Central Time.

Note:

Skeleton Crew members and guests will form up in the Vicer Chat room for Squadron meet.  This will be the 1st of its kind for sometime.  All pilots of the SC, past and present are encouraged to attend.  Friends of the SC will also be encouraged to attend.

This meeting and Flypast will be extended also outside the SC to those who knew SC-Mutt, Doc, and wish to pay their respects.

Those pilots in the US please adjust your timings to coincide with the US South West Central time described above.

Following introductions and catching up on Vicer Chat, all will proceed to the Main Arena Aces High where members will commence in Rook country and tune to channel 303.

This channel number should currently be available for our exclusive use only.  From here a field, carrier and aircraft type will be chosen for the commencement of the Flypast.

An announcement of the Flypast will be made in game on channel 200 and will be made on the AH BBS with the meagre hope that it will be allowed to proceed unmolested through AH airspace.

In the event, the Flypast is engaged.  All members of the Flypast will act as 1 unit and engage any threat.  Upon the cessation of hostilities, the Flypast will reform and continue.

The Flypast will be brief covering a measured area to be determined.  Following the Flypast, all members are encouraged to participate in a dedicated mission encompassing Strike and bombing elements with Fighter Escort.

Your participation is sought to make this event a success.  It is expected that all SC members will make every effort to make themselves available for this one small gesture on our part.

I will try to get there, but I think with the current time difference between Europe and the US it may be 3.00 am rather than the usual 2.00 am for me, which may be a little late. If I don't get there, I hope it goes well. SC-Mutt.
