I would have liked to.

He'll forever be one of the "Best of the Best" in my book, and just so as you know very few have ever made that list, and it's quite a short list.

I'll miss him deeply.

I am so sorry to hear about your father, SC-Mutt, Spuds.  I have known him since my Air Warrior days which I started in 1998, and he will be sadly missed.  :(

These are hard times, but time will eventually numb some of the pain and loss.

Spuds,  I've just only found out this morning from checking the SC board.  I'm stunned and still in shock.  I will be paying my respects later today with a moment of silence at roughly the same time as the planned nine-gun salute at Vashon Eagles.

Salute, Mutt!  Damn, you're going to be missed!

He was among the best of people I know.
A great man.

It was a privilege to know him.
