too many custom stick sets!

i am trying to set up a new stick i made in the windows xp control panel "joysticks and controlers" area, it says i have too many tho and must delete some, anyone know how to do this?

There's not a remove button there on the game-controllers menu ??

look for it & select & remove the ones you dont want

there is a remove button, but its only for removing the current stick set from use, it doesnt remove it from the large list of default and custom set ups i have over 52 of em.

this is a pain because i need to make another custom set up but it wont let me add another, its not an issue of how many game ports im using, but of the list being just plain full, seems you cant have over 52 custom set ups. you would think there would be an easy way to remove it, its probably somewhere in the windows registry but i havent found it.

 i have asked all around, no one seems to know what to do:(

damn xp and its quirks!
