A new version of the beta is available for downloads. Please see the previous news posts on the DX8 beta if you are trying it for the first time.
The download is about 660KB and is located here:
http://downloads.hitechcreations.com/AHDX8BETA8.EXE The last change didn't work out so this version adds a new checkbox in the video setup labeled "Fast Vertex Processing". Checking this box will improve framerate but may lead to corrrupted video with certain driver sets. This version also fixes some other stability issues so it should be able to run on all platforms now but some people might have to leave the fast vertex processing off.
