Mary Alice would be historic.  There is a B17 restored in her markings at the American Wings Museum at Duxford, England.

Google  "Mary Alice", B17G.  Lots of good images of her out there

And here's the problem with that bird :)

That REALLY IS an ETO combat vet B17.  BUT!  It was delivered as a natural metal B17G to the 91st BG.  She was forced to head to Sweden after getting shot up and the crew was interned.  The 17 was converted to an airliner after the war and then ended up rotting away on a field.  She was discovered by Steve Birdsall, a noted historian and the AF Museum got involved due to her combat history.

She was restored, and during that restoration they decided to paint her OD/Gray as the metal wasn't in good enough condition to buff it back to the shiny natural metal.

SO it's a real combat bird, in the wrong paint!

Image is of Shoo Shoo Baby during the war before she was interned.
