AR234 Bombsite Bug?

Was level bombing (or trying to) in an AR234.  Calibrating the bombsite went as normal, and then I hit U to leave calibration mode.  Instead of getting crosshairs at SOME point on the ground, I'm getting the bombsite crosshairs on my forward horizon.  

I'm thinking this has to be a bug of some kind.  I've done plenty of bombing in B-24s etc. and never seen anything like this.  I was going fast (400 kts) at 8,500 alt.  

AR234 is expensive enough that the bombsite should work!

You have to cycle secondary weapon (Backspace key). Secondary weapon is still set to RATO's. You'll see next time...

does this essentially mean you could accurately drop your ratos on a target?

Ahhh... so thats it.  Thanks.  I accidentally dumped my bombload once, so I had left it sent on RATO until I got close to target.
