They were here in Alabama last week and the B-24 sat on the ramp having the left outboard engine reworked about 2 miles from my office. The test flights to get everything up and going again were beautiful to see with the T-6's that were flying formation with it all around the office. We are right in the flight take off and landing path to the airfield so it had to pass less than 200 meters west of my office each time it came out or went back.

On my way back from keywest I got to see a B26..

Frickers wouldn't let me jump inside and look around while they were refueling..

I even told them I was a WWII reenactor, and had never seen a b26 before..

He said, as he shoved pizza into his face, uff, were gettin rudy to head to orlazndo..

I was able to shove my head in and look at the side gunner positions...

And a b17 flyby and landing was fun to watch aswell..

Not to mention they were charging $400+ for rides on the B17 and B26 that lasted a total of 30mins from takeoff to landing.. so basicly 10mins in the air
