Effect Of Ord And Fuel
« on: April 10, 2005, 02:55:43 AM »
Hey PPl

Correct me if I am wrong here but I take it that the following is true for AH

1-  The weight of your Ord affects you planes maneuvering performance

2-  When you drop it the effects are removed

3-  External Ord will add to drag as well as weight which slows
you down

4- This also includes your guns package and the ammo you have selected where applicable

5- More Fuel = More weight = same as point 1 less maneuvering performance

thanks all

Currently yes, but when the next patch comes out it is supposed to model the ordnance rails for the bombs and rockets.

I have heard many times over the years that even tho you cant see those rocket rails ect, right now, they are still there , and do effect your performance.

This could be another one of those tall tales that have been around for ages tho.

It's rumored that tiffie rocket rails affect performance after you fire the rockets, but it's something I've never seen proven.

Bombs dont go on rails, rockets do. Bombs go on racks. :D

They certainly slow the Mossie down after firing.  I'm sure they do for the Tiffie too.
