vox crashing
« on: April 14, 2005, 07:41:00 AM »
I've never had problems with my vox before last night (first time flying in V2.03).  However, my vox quit 3 different times last night.  I tried using the vreset commands with no luck.  I had to quit the game (to desktop) and restart.

Has anyone else noticed problems with vox?  Or is it just me?

I was in a Modas mission last night when his vox was lost.  I had just relogged to reset my vox prior to joining.  I played for about 5 hrs. and had lost vox about 3 times.  The .resetv command worked for me only once, since it has been instituted.

I like the idea and hope that it remains as an emergency measure.

I noticed a drop in the number of lost vox occurring when I reduce some settings.  This may be a coincidence, mainly because I am always playing with settings due to the differences from map to map.

Just when I think I have it licked (something new).

I appreciate the visual improvements made in AH2. I am, however dismayed that I can see Tour Of Duty slipping farther away. I fear it will be difficult to evaluate performance when discoes and voices are still frequent.

I too lost vox at least 3 times in as many hours last nite.  It just goes out without any type of indication..... and none of the reset commands work.  Its a little worse with this version than the last few patches, but tolerable I guess...
