Most of the interface should be self explanatory. The basic means of manipulating your view of the model is by holding down the right mouse button and moving your cursor. You can modify this function by holding down the Shift or the Control key in addition to the right mouse button. That will allow you to change the zoom and to move the object away from the center point.
