Yes, the Ho was a reality in WW2 and prolly in WW1 as well but, it was a very dangerous manuever to use, and from what I have read, done more out of desperation the shots of choice were the dead 6 or quarter shots.
I'm not very good at HO's either, and I figure its prolly more to do with my connection rather than anything else. I almost alwaysd but, I will always lose to uber dweeb rides with cannon galore.
