yep lol kinda having probs with importing bmp:( not real terrains so.... lol :) made elv with psp looks good i think but gos off the 512 map size if u know what i mean. almost done with it :) its a snow terrains u wouldent happen to have any other tiles would u  DUX

To make real terrains use the MapMaker program, you'll need .DEM files for geographical locations, the site where to get them from is in the instructions, I have an online tool for longitude and latitudes, go here for this very helpful tool, go to  Aces High Terrains for the MapMaker program.

This is an actual global location made from the MapMaker program, I should warn you though that the .DEM files are extremly large.

.DEM files. The .DEM files are all you need the others can be deleted.

Pay close attention, they are free click the area you want it will open a new window highlighted in blue click on it and save, you will need a program to decompress these files, I use WinRAR anyway after you open them just keep the .DEM file, and here is a site for one more thing you need gusgs1_2.img, scroll down to USGS Land USC/Land Cover Scheme,download, it will read like this gusgs1_2.img.gz, before installing it in the mapmaker folder rename by removing the .gz
