I'm pretty sure it will not be the B29, as it's too ubber for introducing it yet.
maybe a ME-410? but it's not really a bomber.

Ok, B-29 is too uber and we don't have long enough runways, Ju 388L didn't see operational use, Mossie is too common...

Is there a consensus perk bomber will be a Ar 234 Blitz? Very fast and hard to kill but modest bomb load, perfect for arena use!

did you know that the Ar234 used JATO bottles to take off   and that those made the t/o run much shorter?

BTW Ju388 indeed saw service, at least in its photo-reconnaisse incarnation. Maybe in its bomber too,but will have to look into it to be sure

Cc, thanks for the info on the AR-234 guyI  For some odd reason I kept thinking the AR-234 was the four engined version of an Arado 232.

Duh!

What was the jet bomber in Aces Over Europe? I remember playing that game on my P60 a looooooooong time ago but I can't remember what the hell the Arado was in it...

I would like to see an A-20 or a B-25H in here.

Moose11,
That was an Arado Ar234.

Too uber? It's a perk. That's why it's a perk.

And it's not coming till 1.06. Lord knows what the runways will be at some fields in 1.06. Could have totally new terrain in that version.

I'm fairly certain it IS the B-29.

Torgo,

Not doubting you, but how can you be so sure? What if they gave us an SBD-5 Dauntless? (this is one plane I really would like to see for a scenario. With some of these, and Jap Vals + Kates, you could recreate Midway pretty well)

Vermillion, what is the status on the next scenario? Please say that it's going to be a recreation of some action in the Pacific?

I think you guys failed your marketting course. B29 is the one "everyone" expect as the ultimate mega perk bomber.

So if Pyro gives it right now, where is the fun? It's like knowing what's in the package before opening it for x-mas.

I'd have to say I'm with Rickenbacher, more for hoping than expecting. Either the ME-264 or the Japanese 'Peggy" would be nice

Moose, right now its not been decided yet.

We are working on several scenarios along a parallel path, but we won't know for several weeks yet which way we will go.

We'll let you know as soon as we know.

He177 doesn't qualify as perk quality. (Just thinking of something different. Screwing around you know. Playing with ideas. But thanks for making sure.)
Ar234 would be a possibility. (Great.)
B-29A would be the other possibility but would require gobs of 3D and texture work. (Oh really.)

My bet is on the Ar234. (Cool.)
